I was on the Ironman website yesterday and noticed this one...I'm doing IMFL the beginning of Nov so no go in '18 but I'm already thinking about next year.

@trijayhawkryan I found this race in March and really want to. Would be my first IM and it appears to check all the boxes, family friendly, scenic, and flat!! Still haven't pulled the trigger.

Are you by chance in KS? The jayhawk is a giveaway. Maybe we've crossed paths in local races.

Yep, KS. Was in CO for a bit, but came back to my senses.

Live south of KC.

Only issue would be the water temps could be super chilly!
