Any Gator/Bulldog fans coming to DC for the Marine Corps Marathon? Want to watch the game, but avoid smoky bars?

Plans are afoot (bad pun, sorry) for my annual game-day party. Fans of both teams are invited. We'll carb it up and whoop it up, but save the boozing for the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party for Sunday afternoon.

Go Gators!

Will be at the marathon and do like the Gators- even though I am a Notre Dame Fan. When I was stationed in Georgia I always rooted for the Gators and the locals did not take to kindly with that. Let me know where it is going to happen.

Lookin better all the time! I think G8RSAX might be in on it, too.

I'm just doing the MCM 10k, so I can go a little more crazy than you 26.2'ers. But fun will be had.

I'll send PM's with details as we get closer to the game date. For planning purposes, though, my place is in Reston, VA, about 23 miles west of DC (near Dulles airport). So it's kindof a hike to get out there, but it's better than watching the game (and you all KNOW that you will) at a packed, smoke-filled, standing-room only Joe Theismann's with the DC Gator Club.

Go Gators! Train safely!

My admiration for your priorities is exceeded only by my admiration for your ability to get tickets for the damn thing.

Go Gators!

Its called being a student.  And it doesn't hurt that I worked for the athletic association either.

If the game goes the way it has for the past 15 years or so, you might feel better with a VERY HEAVY flow of adult bevvies.

Just sayin. :D

oneword - 2006-06-14 11:07 AM I'm pretty sure Iowa is playing that weekend... Northern Illinois. That should be a slaughterfest

I'm bookmarking this post.  If Iowa doesn't win by 30 I'm gonna.......well I don't know what I'm gonna do but I'll remember this!
