Subject: Argon 18 E80 Tri Bike - $2000
Argon18 E80 triathlon bike with TONS of upgrades.
I just raced this in the Beach2Battleship Ironman (Now IM North Carolina) and came off the bike in 5:47 (pretty fast for this guy!)

Frame size: Top tube is 47cm; Seat tube is 52cm.
Cranks are 172.5mm.
For reference, I'm 5'8" and the bike was a great fit for me.

The frame is aluminum but there is also a lot of carbon on this bike.
The cockpit is 3T Aura-Pro bars with Zipp extenders (brand new bar tape).

Seatpost is ASP 4000 2-way post - Carbon Fiber

Saddle is Adamo ISM Time Trial - super comfy for those long rides!

Components:
SRAM Red Chainring
SRAM Rival front derailleur
SRAM Rival rear derailleur
TYME pedals

XLab dual bottle cage with saddle bag

Stradalli carbon race wheels

Extras:
Set of training wheels for riding indoor or to save your fast wheels for race day!
2 tubes with valve extensions
Bottle of chain lube
Wheel bag
20 oz and 30 oz aero fluid bottles that sit right between your bar extenders

Only issue:

One of the aero pads needs to be replaced. The screws are stripped and so its loose. My local bike shop did a quick fix for my Ironman by putting a plastic block underneath it to keep it tight and in place.

Thanks for taking a look!

I have always been an athlete, growing up playing team sports like basketball and soccer. I also ran in a couple of 10K races every year, so I had no reason to worry about running a 5K...right?

After I left the running store, I couldn't stop thinking about the sprint tri and how much of a challenge it would be for me. So instead of joining a gym, I started riding my bike and it felt great.

The triathlon bike vs. road bike quandary. Before you even ask the road bike vs. tri bike question, you should have a couple sprint triathlons or duathlons under your belt.

I couldn't believe that my splits kept getting lower! I started to run harder after I passed the "5 km" sign and picked a few people that I wanted to pass.
