Swim
Comments: This was the worst swim I have had, and usually its my best of the three events. Felt like I couldn't breath, and couldn't move. Didn't feel like the conditions were too bad but it was a little choppy for a lake What would you do differently?: Two years ago I used a full sleeve suit. Will have to reconsider using wet suits in the future. Transition 1
Comments: Was leaving TZ when I realized timing strap had come off my ankle. Oops! Ran back and fished it out of my wet suit 8th in AG and 95th out of men. What would you do differently?: With exception of the dislodging my strap, I thought TZ went well. Bike
Comments: Sensor wasn't picking up my speed. Raced by feel, and overall it was to my benefit. My second fastest average speed during a triathlon. Drank during bike and finished my aero bottle. Took a gel within the last mile or two What would you do differently?: Ran low on time and didn't double check the sensor for my bike computer. This is the second time I have done this and both times I have been happy with the results. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Sprint 5K PR What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked around and cheered some folks on Event comments: Typical well run Setup Events Race. This was the second time running this race, and will likely race again next year. Good T-shirts. They did pack up the for sale items pretty early, and would only recommend that they keep selling items thru awards. Last updated: 2016-04-25 12:00 AM

Took Friday and Saturday off before the Sunday race. Did 2 runs, a bike and a swim earlier in the week. Drove out to the event on Saturday but arrived just before Midnight. Should have planned better to get more rest.
Arrived 1.5 hours before gun which allowed me to check in, setup transition, and make a bike adjustment.
Not much warm up.
