Comments: Was trying to go slow since I had a full the next day. I did a good job of paving myself I thought. What would you do differently?: Get more sleep the night before! Post race
Warm down: Stretched and ate everything in sight. I felt horrible a few hours later - not sue if I consumed enough calories on the course or what the deal was. What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of sleep zzzzz Event comments: Too many people for my liking. Would provably be a fun race if it was your first half! Got up at 4 a.m., ate a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Arrived around 5. I didn't realize how long it would take for everything to get started - I didn't cross the start line until after 6:30. It was really stinking cold and kind of horrible standing around that long. I was all alone, everyone in my group was only doing the marathon andwas the only one who was doing the half as well.
shivering in the corral!
