Pre-race routine:

Was with the boys! Took a few bites of a PowerBar, but that was it.
Event warmup:

Little jog from car. Nothing else. Stripped to tank top without gloves or hat.

Comments:

Started nicely slow, was a bit bummed with the 19:02 first 5K (mile 3 was slow, but I let it be, but then was bummed it was so slow), but then had a monster negative split. So happy to see so many 2:xx half mile splits in the last half.
What would you do differently?:

Not much! MAYBE mile 3 could have been faster, but that provided me with that good neg split, so who knows. Pretty happy today.

Warm down:

Chased down the boys who were doing their FIRST 5K afterwards! Then headed to Megan and Geoffrey's and didn't do any stretching for hours.

Not wet! Good race!
