BEAT THE TDF YELLOW JERSEY COMPETITION

You may have noticed some strange picks by some of us in the STAGE PREDICTIONS threads. We have a little side competition going on.

As you know the TDF Yellow Jersey is calculated on the rider with the lowest overall time. This is the basis for our competition.

Choose three riders for each Stage. The TIME for the best placed rider is taken. These times are accumulated, giving an individual G.C. time. The person with the lowest time is the BT Yellow Jersey wearer.

We  had a three way tie for the first seven stages but the outright holder after Stage 9 is    dalessit     with a G.C. time of 34h 21m 00s (actually beating the TDF Yellow Jersey holder Rinaldo Nocentini's time of 34h 24m 21s).

TACTICS

I notice that we all seem to pick at least one rider to be our 'banker' such as Contador or Armstrong. Some pick one rider who they hope to be in a breakaway that actually succeeds, others (i.e. yours truly) may pick two.

Have a go. It's fun. You can start now. Keep your timings and add the current TDF Yellow Jersey time of 34h 24m 21s to it. Compare yours to the time of the TDF Yellow Jersey. Are you beating him?
