Anyone else having blackberry service issues???

I guess it could be ATT, my cell provider.

Nah, No problems with mine..

Had some issues with it Sunday though.. inoperatable for about 10 mins.. nothing worked, it was weird.. works fine now. still a little skeptical about the situation.. may have to turn it in for new one.

Not currently a crackberry user - but useda be. I had problems with yahoo sometimes...supposedly an email had been sent - but never showed up OR it did and it took a much longer time than expected.

is your software up to date?

go to blackberry site, look and see if there are updates available.. (or see if you firmware is the same as the latest)

It's a North/South America BIS outage. That means anyone who uses the Blackberry Internet Service will have a problem. Coporate (BES) accounts will not.

It is related to RIM and not any individual carrier.

"BlackBerry email service is down in North and South America. According to Research in Motion (RIM), the Canadian-based company that operates the BlackBerry network, this outage affects private users, but not corporate users. So, if your work gave you your BlackBerry, you will probably still be receiving  email."

Ok cool. That explains it. I guess I could have googled or went to blackberry's website about the outgage (wherever you found it).

Actually it wasn't that easy to find this morning. The outage has been going on since about 3 am EST and many of the big carriers were still unaware as of 9:30 am... Trying to fix it on the down-low I guess. :-/ I get BlackBerry Network Notifications and got zip on this today.

Anyway blackberryforums.com or crackberry.com are good places to look for BB info and outage reports. Words gets around fast once someone posts on one of the forums.
