So I just finished watching "The Science of Lance Armstrong" on the Discovery Channel, and on afterwards is American Chopper, and they're building a bike for Lance. So not only do they fly those lucky b@stards out to Oregon to meet at Nike HQ, but they also ship them a bunch of Lance shwag for "inspiration." Stuff like Lance's TT helmet, oh and his TT bike! B@stards! So they have a little segment where the knuckleheads are trying to assemble the bike and Paul Sr. is taking a wrench to the Hed3's hub, trying to figure out how to mount it on the fork (guess they didn't see the QR skewer). It's been a loooong time since I've screamed at the TV. Good stuff, though.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This bike is second only to the Comanche bike.  The color scheme is AMAZING! I would LOVE to have a black and gold chopper like this one.

Worst looking bike they ever built...you need to have your little doughy head examined!

It's an older episode...saw it about 6 months ago.  Cool idea and they got good toys out of it but I'm not a fan of the bike.  I like the show but I generally don't like theme bikes...they're usually overdone.  I prefer long clean lines and not a lot of busy stuff.  I've seen some awesome bikes on Great Biker Build-off...

Not a fan of the Indian Larry style...impresive bikes but not my type.

I think the redo of his GTO on Overhauled was much better. Most of the crap coming out of American Chopper is overwrought, and childish. good design combined form with function. Most hack shopper designers don't have a clue.
