Pacific Spirit Sprint (Vancouver)

Hi, I am new to this tri thing and really want to get into it... i have some weight to loose in the mountains, trails and waters of this great town!!! but really thinking about doing a tri this year... dunno which one as there are so many around the lower mainland... thus when is this Pacific one hapeningn????

Probably your best bet on finding local races is to do a google search. I use a schedule from a local bike shop here in Victoria, and it has quite a few of the vancouver races on it. It is at:

The layout is a little weird, goes from late 2006 to early 2006 to 2005 races (a little counterintuitive).. but at least you get the idea. The Pacific Spirit Sprint isn't on that calendar, but it's usually held in mid-September. There are lots of races before that, though!

once on that web site, select the drop menu at the top right above the pictures and go to the link that says "Race Calendar" that has a ton of races by month.... still dont know which one to do...

I would love to get together as time goes by and train with some locals.... Anyone interested??

The tribc site lists all TriBC sanctioned races. That's most of them, but the Pacific Spirit race won't be included on the TriBC calander.

I'm a TriBC official, so let me know what races you plan on doing (in the 2006 races thread) and I'll try to officiate them.

No Jen, that actually got me in the zone!
I was not ready for you yet! Thats when I heard GO DAN!! and tried to figure out why this tribc official was yelling at me! THen realized it was you. That was the first time anybody cheered for me! (blush)

Well I think the second race that I cheered for you was actually better. Of course it helped that we were twins.

I can't wait for this day to be over. I'm so excited to be moving tomorrow. Sorry, that was so off topic.
