Who else is racing on the 28th? I will be doing the Olympic distance. Trying to beat my OSIM time. Luckily this time I get to start 2 hours earlier. Good luck!

I didn't even know about it!  Anyhow, I am signed up for Vietnam Tri on Sept. 10, so that's a little close for comfort. Best of luck!

Missed the cheaper entry and now it's out to sgd135 so I won't be doing it! Looking at the Desaru in Malaysia at the end of September.

Do either of you know of any more triathlons (excluding MegeTRI) in Singapore the rest of the year?  I can't seem to find any other events.  If not I guess I get back into the run focused section of training.  Need to start ramping up for the Standard Chartered Singapore Half Marathon in December.

Thanks!

This one is only a 45 minute ferry ride from Changi Ferry terminal. For an Australian that counts as being in Singapore The good thing about Malaysia is most don't need a visa.

2:33.  I dropped 8 minutes from OSIM.  Swim was much better.  Less waves and much less current.  I almost set a PR but just missed it.  Time to get into my run focus for Singapore HM in Dec.

I did 2:41 for OSIM as well. We can go head to head in the HIM next March Which side of Singapore are you? I'm in the East out Tampines way. Maybe we can get together for a run or ride one of these days.

I live close to West Coast Park (West Coast Rd and Clementi Rd).  Runs are usually out through West Coast Park or out to the Pandan Reserviour.  Bike rides are usually out west to avoid some of the crazy traffic.  It would be great to get together and ride.  Unforunately the next 2 months are full of travel for work.  Are you running the Singapore Marathon?

Half marathon, going to Phuket the week before with my brother and a friend from Taiwan to do the Laguna Tri. After that (and most probably before judging from Bintan Tri) we'll be drinking so not sure what sort of shape I'll be in for the race but should be well carbo loaded Laughing

I do my long rides early in the morning, maybe meet in the city one morning and you can show me the west, next time I'll show you the east. Running for me is just close to home because we don't have a car. Usually the Bedok Res or the Tampines Eco park (do it barefoot sometimes just cause a friend gave me born to run to read).

Meeting a group to do Mt Faber tomorrow morning at 6am starting from Fort Rd. Haven't done any hills in years so will be interesting. Expecting to puke but we'll see how it goes.
