Okay, simple question....I'm doing an easy fundraiser for TNT, a candy jar at my desk (I've got all different kinds of candy). I'd originally thought asking 3 for 25 cents (someone at the kickoff suggested that yesterday), but now I'm wondering if I should just ask for a donation? What would you prefer if you were taking a few pieces of candy? Thanks!

I would put up a cute little sign "free candy in exchange for some of your pocket change"

I wouldn't mind.

I think you would be better off with just "donations".  You'd be surprised how much some people will give you. Good luck!

I would go with "Donations for TNT".  Then people know what you're collecting money for.  I think you'll get more money that way.

I did this as a fundrasier as well.  I found that most people would just dump their spare change in the jar.  I think I charged like $.10 for each peice and after awhile the price didn't matter.  Probably if you make a cute little sign for a  donation that would work   Good luck and way to start fundraising!

I made a sign (okay, not that cute, because I'm not creative). But it says exactly that (thanks tricomet!) and I put underneath donations go to LLS's Team in Training.

I've had a couple takers today. I might try to put it in a more public spot. Right now, it's inside my cube, so you have to walk by to see it. OOh-I did have one person come in and tell me they are going to donate, they just have to wait until payday...

Thanks everyone!!!

If I decide to do Maui or something, shaving the head would be good. It's crazy, but a great idea!!! You are doing an awesome job I'm doing Memphis in May.
