Subject: Advise on my future neededI've had some activity over the past couple months (walking,stationary bike,weight training,etc... ) but I've officially started my training program Monday. I just started running again. I just got my bike yesterday. I joined a pool 2 weeks ago and discovered I don't swim as well as I thought. (No form and years of not swimming )
I'm debating on signing up for http://www.envirosports.com/events/displayevent.php?eventid=1556but I'm not sure if I'll be ready.
I'm doing a variation of the 20 week sprint workout.
Is this race too much? Should I try to find a more "standard" sprint?
At first I thought the swim was only 500 yards but I looked again and saw it was .5 miles so I got scared
Basically, I don't want a DNF and I don't want to waste 85 bucks.
