Subject: Printer Help
I have an HP OfficeJet 7000 so I can print 13x19 pages at work. In the last week it has stopped printing in black. I replaced the cartridge and it still wouldn't print in black. Any ideas?

Check for driver updates or replace the current drivers? Delete the printer from your computer and reintroduce it as a new printer. Cycle power to the printer.

Have you tried running a cleaning cycle?

A couple of possibilities:

1. Try a clean cycle.

2. It is possible that the new ink cartridge that you put in is bad.  It's not nearly as rare as you would think.

The printer should have a dialog box letting you know the various ink volumes.  If it is still showing that the black cartridge is empty, then you may have a bad cartridge sensor.  In that case, if it is under warranty, you'll get a new box.  If not, you'll be buying a new box.

Shout "PC Load Letter....what the f' does that mean"

Then hit it and say "This things lucky I'm not strapped"

Then take it into a field and bash it with a baseball bat while Ghetto Boys "Die Mother F'er Die" plays in the background....

Check this out.....I have a different model but mine did the exact same thing a week ago. I searched out a few forums and read about good success with the following:

1.take all the ink cartridges out and put them in a plastic bag to keep the outlet from drying out.

2.take out the cradle that holds the ink cartridges.

3.soak it in isopropyl alcohol and water for 1hr or so.

4.use q-tip dipped in same alcohol if needed to clean old ink off.

5.rinse off in warm water.

6.dry thoroughly with hair dryer on med/warm.

7.reinstall....the process the printer uses to reallign can take 10min or more.

I had to do this twice because the first time I only used warm water. It worked great and my printer is up and runnign again.

Don't they send you to white collar prison for doing that?
