We as a society *might* have a chance against the slow Walking Dead walkers.  But these things... no way...

As I recall in the book, they were walking zombies were they not...

Wow you're right. In the book they were slow. These look like the "vampires" in I Am Legend.

This family loves zombie movies.

Looks amazing and yes they are faster in the trailer and more aware with the Z wall. I wonder how much they will follow the story line of the book or if they will slow down the Z over time.

The book was a collection of a bunch of different stories.  Looks like this one is focused on Pitt's character.

Looks like it could be a cool movie, but of course the producers are going to tailor the trailer to give that impression.

Yah, the Z's look way fast and smart compared to how they've been portrayed in the past. I've not read the book yet (too many books on my list, not enough time), so I can't make a comparison there. I am looking forward to watching this one and reading the book.

Zombies as relentless and numerous as Brazilian army ants.

Good Lord, I better stock up on "Raid".

The trailer doesn't look like they are sticking to the book.  It almost looks like Pitts character is inserted into a lot of the stories found into the book.  The speed of the Zs is impressive in the trailer, but much quicker than in the book.  In the book towards the end they talk about the army training to shoot 1 Z a second at a steady methodical pace.  With the speed  shown in the trailer I don't think that would work.  I am excited to see this one, even if they branch off from the book there are so many cool aspects they could bring in from book.
