Pro 5761 Bartlett, TN | Subject: Sons of Anarchy- Final Ride I thought the series finale last night was one of the better series ending shows that I have seen. It left nothing in the air like the Sapranos or other enders that blew. I really liked this show and I am bummed that is over.
What did you think? |

predictable as in how? I think everyone knew that Jax was was going to die, but to know that he was going to go out the same way his father did and that the guy from the Shield would be driving the truck was unpredictable IMO |

Pro 6838 Tejas | Subject: RE: Sons of Anarchy- Final Ride I knew he had to die. When Chucky tells him that he put the plates on his Dad's bike, I thought he was going to run. Why make a bike legal otherwise? I figured he would get killed somewhere right before getting out of Charming. I didn't realize Jax was English until last week when I saw Green Street Hooligans! (not a bad movie BTW) I could tell he was trying to suppress his natural speech and assumed he was trying to dump some deep south thing to sound like a northern Cali boy. Sort of like Rick on TWD. I thought he was just trying his darnedest to sound southern, but he is also suppressing a British accent. Shame what they did to that gold GTO. Probably a prop car they can strip and rebuild as needed, but I still cringed every time they hit something! |

I think everyone knew that Jax was was going to die, but to know that he was going to go out the same way his father did and that the guy from the Shield would be driving the truck was unpredictable IMO There was a lot of foreshadowing in the earlier episodes of season 7. And you know Michael Chiklis wasn't going to be a one episode cameo. Chucky fixing up JTs old bike, etc., etc. |

I have a feeling there will be a sequel, set 20 years in the future. The way they showed Abel twirling the "sons" ring sort of sets up an opening for a future show. |

Expert 1121 Menomonee Falls, WI | Subject: RE: Sons of Anarchy- Final Ride Here's a question. I just started watching the series and only have the first two episodes under my belt. Does the series improve from this point? The story lines seems very contrived, many of the actors seem mis-cast (especially this "Jax" character), Katy Segalls character is horrific with her constant little one-liners to everyone and I'm just not feeling a vibe. I understand there is a big following of people who like the show and I have heard from others that the first season is bad compared to the rest. I'm just not sure I can watch an entire first season if it continues like the first 2 epidodes. Thoughts? |

One thing to keep in mind is that it's not a show full of emmy award winning acting. In fact there can be some downright bad acting from time to time but the characters, plot twists and bombshells are pretty entertaining. |

Since I'm caught up as far as I can be with Walking Dead, I needed a new bike trainer distraction. I started watching on suggestion from a co-worker with whom I have similar views as to what is watchable TV. |

It would be interesting, for sure. And it would be ironic considering the main reason Jax ended things the way he did was to try to keep his boys from going down the same path. |
