Subject: RE: Deleting a postFrom a moderator standpoint, this would make life fairly hard. Imagine if people started posting inflammatory things, which of course would draw responses, then they delete the original post. Trying to discover the flow of a thread and the actual events would then become forensics, involving lots more 'he said, she said' stuff, and in turn would then become more of a developer task. I'm much more willing to live with the occasional double post than to have posts falling off threads without warning, obscuring the audit trail, which is our only guide to figure out how to keep BT safe and clean.  From a BT member standpoint, DP's don't bother me, and if there's content that needs to be deleted, it probably shouldn't have been posted in the first place.  Edited by rkreuser 2007-03-29 9:27 AM
