Comments:

Nice course. Ran w/ partner for the first 13, she just did the 1/2 marathon course. LEft me alone :( for the 2nd loop. We did the first 13.1 in 2 hours. I kept the pace up until mile 20 and then hit the wall and on went he battle of jog/walk for the final 10k.
Quite a 2 nd loop. Other folks were either too far ahead or too far behind to run with. No food or gels for the 2nd loop, really ripped into me.
What would you do differently?:

Gain experience, build more endurance, bring something to eat.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around a bit, but generally wasted!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of training

Congrats and good job on your marathon! Even though your running partner left you halfway through, you still had a good overall time. And you've run farther than a lot of us have. You've got me beat by about 3 times.

Yes May, it will be coming up this Feb. Check out cool running or hyannis marathon website. I will probably do the 1/2.

Ya, I might have updated this the wrong way, probably confused folks because cape  cod an hyannis are one and the same to some folks.

I am planning on doing the 1/2 if I am in town that weekend. Would have tried to train for the full, but already have loose plans for a March marathon in Va. Beach.

Ellen said the weather is always beautiful in Hyannis in February. Ha ha ha ha. She'll be there!

Duh, sorry, should've looked at the dates. That would have been a dead give-away...

I didn't know you did Hyannis this year.  For some reason I thought CCM was your first.  You're a seasoned marathoner!
