I have been trying to paste pictures into my training log and have been unsuccessful.  Other BTers have pics in their logs (either daily or under goals) and I can't figure it out.  I am using the experimental rich text editing and I have also tried regular rich text editing and I can't figure it out.  Please help.  Thanks, Julie

You can't do a copy/paste of images into your training log. It has to be done like so:

The image has to already be on the web somewhere. If you're using a personal photo it should be either in your Albums or on a site like Photobucket. (If you use the Albums, get it's url by right clicking on the image itself. Don't use what's in the Address bar of your browser, it won't work. )

In your training log, click the Insert Image button Insert Image.

Enter the url to the image in the box labelled Image Url

Click Insert.

It's a bi*ch to figure out.

If you can't do it from Marma's instructions, PM me a phone number and I'll talk you through it.  Took me forever.

You have to have the Advanced text editor selected in your Control Panel.

Change the setting labelled "Use rich edit box when composing messages?" to TinyMCE Editor and you'll get a toolbar akin to what you would see in MS Word in the forums and your blog.

No, not at all ... I just posted the same question in my team challenge thread.

Okay, so assuming you changed the setting in Control Panel to TinyMCE Editor (I think that's what it's called) and you see a toolbar with lots of icons on top of the general Comments section of say today's log:

- In Albums, right-click on the picture you want, and pick the bottommost option: Properties.

- copy the URL you'll see there (long line of gobbledygook)--highlight it with your cursor, then press CTRL C.

- Now, in the comments section of your log, put the cursor to wherever you want the picture to appear, and click on the tree icon .

- A window should appear with a line entry that says Image URL.

- paste (CTRL V) and the gobbledygook should appear in the line entry.

- press Submit (or Okay, or Accept, or whatever the DO IT! button is)

- your pic should appear in your log.

Hope that works!!!
