But you lose them again for using a K&N. "Flows more air" (almost always) means "lets in more dirt." OEM filters are the best deal going for almost every vehicle. |

Veteran 275 Algonquin, IL | Subject: RE: Best recent purchases < $10 Picked up a set of "T" handle allen wrenches at Menards on clearance for $9.99. They work so much better at home when I want to make adjustments on either of my bikes. The other hex wrenches I have are too short to fit into tight spaces (that's what she said). |

This is what my bottle opener was. I had bottle openers, three or four, but this one feels substantial in the hand and it opens every bottle every time, first time. Works so much better. I don't have any t-handle hex keys, but your post makes me think I'd find them satisfying in the same way. Thanks! |

OK, I am way behind on the technology power curve. What do you need to do on your Mac that you can't do on your iPad. Do you control the TV from the Mac? If so, why? What is the Mac part doing? Streaming vid?

Master 8250 Eugene, Oregon | Subject: RE: Best recent purchases < $10 It's not that recent but it's really convenient. I have this scary-looking plug-in copper coil thingy that I got at a huge market on the Lao/China border for about $2.50. You stick it in a cup, and it boils water. In SE Asia, they usually don't give you a thermos of hot water (it's a given in China) and cheaper hotel rooms don't have one of those electric kettles. I do a lot of low-budget travel. So with this handy little device, I can boil water anywhere--either for purification or to make morning/afternoon tea or coffee. It makes me very popular on school trips as people want to borrow it to make their favorite hot drinks. |

Hotels often have coffee pots, but I like to make my own coffee by the cup with a melita. I haven't seen something like that here, but I'll look. Thanks HR! |

Yep, it's a play on my last name and what we do. Cambium is essentially the cellular structure that allows a tree to grow. I saw one description that calls Cambium the nutritional network of a tree. My last name is Underwood so Cambium is kind of the "Under wood Network". So I named my company "Cambium Data" I know, it's dorky, but I couldn't think of anything better 5 years ago. |

I'm quite partial to nature names. All of my kids have some nature component to their names, as does our business, and all our business vehicles have a nature-based vanity plate. Our sprinter van gets to rock "LORAX".
