Subject: Harris Roubaix (Maple Ridge) Group Ride Anyone?

Since group rides seem to be the spirit (and I'm glad they are), does anyone want to join a friend (Kristine, some of you know her) and I on a ride one evening this week?

This is the ride we'll be doing as we are racing it next weekend.

There's gravel, but it's suitable for road bikes. We're going out to practice due to the gravel.

If anyone wants to go for a couple of laps, let me know. Most evening this week will work fine for me.

Speaking of bad weather, yesterday started out sunny, but by the end of 100km, I was almost unrecognizable from a pile of dirt.

Well the race is 70km, but we don't have to do that much.

I dunno, till whenever we're tired or until it's dark or both.

Okay, here's the plan.

We'll meet at the community centre on Harris Rd, just south of Lougheed (near Ford Rd. I think - check the map) at 5:35. I'm taking the west coast express and it arrives at 5:32, hence the 5:35 time.

If you want my cell number, PM me and we can try to meet up if anyone is arriving later.
