Subject: Anyone know of an available race number?

The race filled up before I registered, so I am looking for a number. If any of you know of someone who registered but cannot run, please let me know.

Just wanted to say that last year they disqualified the girl that ran and got either 1st or 2nd because she ran under someone else's number.

Oh, then they probably won't even know. I know plenty of people who use others numbers. Common practice.

 Last year at the race was the first time I'd ever seen anyone get found out and dq'd because of it.

They really should let numbers be transferable but I guess it is an admin nightmare.

 Good luck finding a number!

Good luck,

   I have been contacting running buddies in different circles for several weeks trying to get a number.  The course is flat and fast and a great tune up (if ran easy) for the Atlanta 1/2 in 5 weeks.  So far no one can get me a number.  I have debated just showing up and running it numberless and dipping out right before the finish line, I would just write a check to the group as a donation so I am not running for free.
