what do you use?  I need to clean shower doors of the hard water stains - placing house on market - but the hard water stains will not come off.  I've used: vinager, CLR and lime away - nothing does it.

suggestions?

There is a cleaner at one of the dollar stores called "The Works" that works pretty good for our water in SA. Be careful though, I've seen it etch formica.

There's a MLM company called Melaleuca. They make a product called "Tub and Tile" If you can find someone in you area that is a member of Melaleuca they can order it for you.

I've heard many people (non members) claim that this stuff does the job when all others failed.

Barkeepers friend is the best cleaning product for hard water stains. It will remove all rust and other stains easily.

Vinegar SHOULD work but you need to let it soak a bit.  Maybe take a paper towel and soak it in vinegar and then stick it on the wall?

I've use the Melaleuca product and was not impressed.

I've used this on toilets that have a hard water circle in them, so it might work on your shower doors... go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get some drywall sandpaper, it looks like black screen, but it works pretty well... it won't scratch the toilet, so I'm thinking it should work on glass, but I'd spot check a small area first.
