Subject: Goggles - making water go into my sinusesI live on a lake and have been swimming distance for years without goggles mainly because I never have trained in a pool. I am doing my first triathlon so I have been training using the gear I will wear in the race including a new pair of goggles. When ever I take a breath the goggles cause water to drain into my nose and it is causing me to have some sinus issues. I cant be the only person that has had this problem. I tried goggles about 10 years ago and it happend then too. Maybe its my technique or something but I have tried adjusting them and it still happens. Can anyone give me advice on how they were able to stop this from happening? |
