Subject: Hitting the reset button
Hi everyone. I disappeared for a while due to broken bicycle, increased workload, business travel, and an inability to prioritize, again. This is the hardest thing for me, prioritizing the exercise. Sleep, work, and me-time always wins out because I fail to remember the amazing "me-time" that my workouts give me when I'm not doing them.

So, I have literally reset my internal button. I have hired a coach from T3 Coaching, http://www.t3coaching.com/,I have spoken with my employers, I have fixed my bicycle, and I have found new goals. Lofty goals, but goals that will be guided by a coach. I have one more business trip this week and then I officially start with my coach on Monday the 8th. A newbie restart, if you will. I'll be trackable on my logs.

I've missed BT.com!!!

Welcome back!  You know, as someone who has done the SAME THING about 5 times now, what's important is that you didn't just disappear.

Fall down 9 times, get up 10.

thanks for chiming in. I feel like a loser flake, but I can't do this without the support of my fellow BTers!! My S.O. is supportive, but not a participant and sort of doesn't get it. I don't have other friends that are doing this with me so it's YOU guys that help me get back up when i do fall down.

A. I'm going to submit that to the quote list in your name.

B. I'm stealing that as my new sig. Short, straight, to the point. It's all you gotta do.

Uh... wow.  That's great, but don't attribute me, cause I got it from somewhere else.  I think it's some kind of Japanese? saying.  However, it exactly expresses what is important to remember, is that it's not always about being the most successful, sometimes it's just about not letting failure stop you.

Welcome back! I'm in the process of starting over, too. It hasn't been easy, but it has been mostly fun. Good luck!

Great to see you around again!
I feel your pain. I found out that time management is the hardest part of my training!
Unfortunately something's gotta give
I work full time, I teach part time (3 classes), I am training for a triathlon and a marathon, and surprise surprise I've been dating the same guy for 6 months now...
How can I fit everything in my schedule?
I cannot! LOL
So my bike and swimming are suffering but I am still running 4 times a week...
I just do not stress about it! As long as I keep active I am ok.
I accepted the fact I am not superwoman, I am doing this to keep in shape, and unfortunately I have bills to pay... LOL
