I just finished watching the first season of LOST on DVD, and the first two episodes of this season that I Tivo'ed. This show ROCKS!!!! I'm hooked. I was up until 3 am trying to figure out what those stupid numbers mean. I spent way too much time on the internet reading way too many weird theories on the numbers and the show.

I usually host a Weds. night bible study at my house, but I cancelled it tonight so I could watch Lost. Something seems very wrong about that, but I don't care. And that Kate...she's no good! I aslo predict there will be a character this year named Thomas Hobbes, or Thomas or Hobbes. 3 hours and 39 minutes.

I caught one episode last year and then ... it's finally worth turning on the TV on Wednesday night again! Don't worry, ASA22, I made sure we didn't join a bible study at our new church b/c of the addiction know as Lost. It's awesome!

I have to admit, we bought TIVO because our bible study was causing us to miss our favorite shows.  Although, last week, one couple missed on Monday to watch football...so if TIVO ever breaks, I've got a pass to watch my shows...which includes LOST..TIVO'ing it right now so I can type this!

I wonder... it's not the kind of show that's going to gain a lot of viewers in its next season. (Unlike, say, Friends, which started out as a sleeper, and slowly grew to be a mega-huge "anchor" show).  How do the producers pitch a show that's so complicated? Relying on DVD sales I suppose... (FWIW, it seems to be a well made program, but "Lost" is how I feel when I try to watch it.)

I LOVED Lost but now I'm SOOOO over the show.  The show just sucks ass because they never close shit out.

What about the polar bear?

What about the invisible monster dragging John?

etc. etc.

really dumb show.

I haven't actually watched the show yet, but tonight, I saw a quick blip of a scene on TV that piqued my curiousity...

It was a shot of a storage room of some kind. Everything had these octagonal labels on them. I didn't get a good look at all 8 sides, but it looks like a bagua symbol (8 trigrams) with what looks like a bird of some kind in the middle. But, the bird looks like a taijitu symbol. I'm a hack student of symbology, so this stuff just caught my eye. Can anyone explain the tie-ins with the Chinese symbols?

I think that is it's new time for this season...I'm glad, since I got off work at 8pm and get to spend some time visiting BT before planting my self in front of the tube.

???Who was Ethan?  the guy that kidnapped the PG girl last season. and then got shot by the Hobbit kid.
