First ever 10K. It was very rainy and chilly. Luckily the Thunder and lightning held off. There was a lot of hills. Also ran with infected toe.
What would you do differently?:

Not run with the infected too. Train on hills

FIRST TRI IS IN TWO WEEKS---- The Toe is feeling pretty good now, I must have forced most of the puss out while running. lol.

Did not get any pictures because my support crew(Wife, SIL and her freind) stayed in vehicle because they were afraid of getting wet. When they got out the forgot to bring the digital Camera. At the festival I was able to get a picture in front of the Kodak NASCAR but don't have a scanner. I found this pic online from a previous race. It is a 5k that I did at the beginning of the month. Did not know the picture existed until twenty minutes ago. I am the guy in the red with the blue hat.

Congrats on first 10k and good luck in the tri...It is so much fun. This is my first season and Ive done 3 sprints and 1 Olympic and had fun at all...even when my times werent what I hoped for...
