Subject: Visiting San Diego
Visiting San Diego this weekend and need things to do around La Jolla.  Going to a concert Saturday night, but other than that need good places to eat and fun things to do.  Looking at taking a surfing lesson or snorkeling.  Any suggestions?!

The Fish Market is also great sea food but not in LJ. Jake's in Del Mar is nice too but not just seafood.

Go for a swim at The Cove. Rent ocean kayaks. Visit the caves. Rent a boat in Mission Bay. Go to Black's Beach.

I was there in 2008 and stayed in Del Mar. We did a lot of riding up and down 101. torrey Pines is a great place to hike or ride.  Also, make sure to go to Stone Brewery in Escondido.  The beer garden is amazing.

I also was in San Diego last weekend for a wedding.  By the bay, it was chilly.  I was surprised and not prepared.  I was prepared for a great city.  It is and we wanted to stay a lot longer.  The only tourist thing we did was the San Diego Zoo.  It is a great zoo.  Next trip, I plan to spend a week or so.
