| Member 131 | Subject: RE: When will summer get here ? We had summer here in Calgary about 2 weeks ago, Mothers Day was about +30! now we are in to spring with snow warnings in the mountains. But as true Canadians do me and my swim partner hit the lake for our first OWS. It was really really chilly (i would say about a lake temp of +10) but you know you are Canadian when you wake up the morning on a swim, see +6 and say hey that isn't bad........any temp with a plus sign in front of it is great for us. |

So if this is in regular COJ and not Political Joe, can I still make a joke about global warming? lol btw, I do agree that the below normal temps have made it challenging for outdoor training. My wife has a Tri this weekend and she's not looking forward to the cold water. When the water temp is in the mid 60's she can't put her face in the water. |
