Hello, Mike.
The first step is acknowledging your addiction. So congrats on that.
The next step is having fun training and racing, and getting to your next goal.
Tri's have changed my life. I hope they do yours as well.
What are the next races you have planned?

Hi Mike ... looks like you are well on your way for this 12 step program.  You are about at Step 5 which reads "Now suspend your disbelief at the price of bicycles and open up your wallet"

Seriously, welcome to BT.  Great place, lots of Georgia (and Atlanta based) athletes.  You'll find that it is a relatively small community.

Got any other races on the schedule for the rest of the year?

I'm at step 5, but my wife isn't!

Welcome, Mike!

Thanks for the welcome guys!  I just dropped some coin on a new Cervelo @ All 3 Sports.  Great shop!  I have the Emerald Coast Sprint coming up in September.  My first ocean swim...  Any tips for the ocean?

Which Cervelo did you get?

Ocean swims, in my opinion, are better than fresh water swims as the salt water makes you more bouyant.  I have found, however, that I am more dehydrated after the swim and therefore drink plain water right after.

There is another sprint you may want to consider: Emerald Point ... put on by Georgia Multisports at Lake Lanier.  Jim Rainey, the owner and USAT Regional Board member thanks to many of the votes from this forum, puts on an awesome race.

It tends to sell out as it is the last metropolitan race of the season, so you might want to sign-up (if it is not already sold out) to give your bike another race.  http://www.gamultisports.com/

I will go sign up now for that.  Thanks Brian.  I ended up getting the Scott CS1 Pro and put 25 miles on it the first day at Stone Mtn and LOVE it!
