Subject: RE: The reward of going longOh yeah - you're singing my song! I look at short workouts to recover from the long ones and to keep up the overall volume. Maybe I need to reframe thgem to get get more value out of them, but I live for going long. The sense of achievement at the end of a long session is great, but it's the exploring along the way that I love. Those short sessions get to be a bit routine because I forever seem to be covering the same terrain near home. Come the long session and anything is possible. I think I discover a new corner of the countryside on just about every long ride or run. Gotta love that! Gerrard |
