I almost wish I had a twitter account so that I could see the replies.

Are there ANY truly unbiased media sources? Not in my (limited) experience.

I do not think it was this way (at least not to near the same extent) 40-60 years ago.  This, I believe is an effect of large corporations, unions and lobbies and the money the bring to not only politics but the media outlets.

completely unbiased?  no.  but there are sources that are less biased, and if you read with discernment on both sides of the bias you can usually start to figure out what's legit.

however, from your "official media" twitter you should not be allowed to just say donate to a specific candidate.  on his personal stuff?  sure.  you can slant and edit the facts as you do, but i think it's just wrong to use your position and do that with it.

A little bit on topic, I just read this article.  Granted Media Matters is a liberal web based news organization but I find it interesting.

Emails reveal Justice Dept. regularly enlists Media Matters to spin press

There's the old saying (not sure where it's from) that: "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."

However, in today's world of conservative and progressive internet media and forums both sides pretty much push their own facts.  Even the "fact check" sites have their own agendas and spin the "facts" just as much as the campaigns do.  It makes it really hard for the average person to make informed decisions on topics and the trust of media has gone downhill with it.

I looked into that original tweet and it was an announcement that pres was going to Wisconsin to campaign and when you hit the share option the url was listed like the tweet. The tweeter wasn't linking to the donation site it was done through the share option.

Want to explain that again?  I use Twitter all the time.  There is no "share" option.  You can retweet and then add onto it, but this was HIS original tweet.  Not a retweet.

Also no other news agency has claimed this was a "shared" (whatever that means) tweet.  If it was wouldn't you think Peter Hamby would be the first one to claim his innocence?

Its when you read an article on line and you have the option to "share" on Facebook or Twitter or Pinterest

When you select the share option it coded to include a blurb & url then it will post to your facebook page or twitter account etc
