Subject: With this talk about alcohol during races...
I think I may have told you guys this, but I may not have.

With all this talk about alcohol during races, we can think of the beer mile. But I have something much more challenging...

The blood donor mile:

Run 400m, donoate some blood,

repeat three more times.

I am not responsible for any harm that may be incurred if you try this.

Why not just donate blood a few times a year and then enjoy a drink during the race?  No point in suffering needlessly.

Hmm.  Good call.  It would be better to do it "renegade mile" style:   Insert  the needle and have some sort of cart or large shoulder bag to carry the blood.   See who can run the farthest before collapsing.

Have to admit that our rugby team in college made a regular practice of "Donor-drinkups."

Every few months (three times a school year) we'd give blood and then have a huge drinkup.  End of Fall season.  Start of 2nd semester.  End of Spring season.

Stoooopid?  Sure.  Surprised

Memorable?  Sure.  Laughing
