Tomorrow I'm going to attempt my first Ironman here in Arizona.  Haven't been training much on the bike but should manage to finish I hope.  Of course the girls from vancouver here, Miranda and Alisia, will both probably win their age groups.  Canadian gals kick  butt.

Thanks everyone!  I meant that this was my first IM for the year not my first IM.

Results:  Miranda, of the North Shore Tri Club, and registered secretly somewhere here on BT came in 6th place overall.  She missed out on $3500 in prize money for not being registered as a Pro.  That will change and I'm sure she will earn larger prize money in the future.  I dare say she can do better.  I think she can podium finish at Kona.  That would be huge.   Canadian gals kick butt.  Me,  I finished better than last year, and surprised to do so as i really didn't train much at all.  I hope to have a much better race at Wisconsin in Semptember.  I'll take the week off then get training especially on the bike.
