There are plenty of buoys placed in the lake - just pick one, swim to it, pick another ..... You can get in a great swim doing this, and it's really very nice. Hi Mspina, and thanks for confirming my experience of the beach. It's nice and clear. Off to the right or left sides along the shore I've encountered some plants -- weeds, lillypads, etc. -- but swimming out to the buoys is all clear and easy. We keep the Tu/Th swim ritual usually meeting at the beach at 6:20-6:30am through Sept. End of Sept. we'll stage a friendly race there. I'll post an announcement here. Cheers, -Sunny |
