Subject: Falls Duathlon in Cannon Falls - 5/1/10
Will I see anyone there? I did the race last year (it's first year), and it was a nice race. I expect it to be bigger this year. My wife and I are signed up! (It's a 2 mile run, 14 mile bike, 3 mile run)

I just signed up today after learning a friend of mine is working with the timing company for the race.  It'll be my third type of race on three consecutive weekends. 

While I enjoy running in the rain, I hope it's dry for the bike.

I'll be there with my husband and three friends. My friends' first ever multi-sport event.

I have been on a bike only once since last season so I'm going for the free burger and beautiful Cannon Falls!

No, that was the Cannon Wells duathlon in Faribault. This one's the Cannon Falls duathlon in Cannon Falls. But they're both put on by Final Stretch, so it DOES get confusing....

Crap.

WCCO is saying 15 mph winds out of the SW at 10 am. Yay. Like you said, it will be on the way back that we're bucking the wind. Super yay.

Weatherunderground has steady 21 and gusts to 30 while we were out on the bike.  Tough day!

I think I smiled over the entire second run because I was just SOOO HAPPY to be off that bike! Specifically after those last 7 miles!
