Does anyone have any personal recommendations with sunless tanners? I've heard they are getting better with giving a natural tan and less of that orange color that we got years ago. I've googled it and it seems the most recommended are Coppertone endless, Jergens national glow, and neutragena instant bronze.

Anyone?

even thought they are better, it's easier to just get the spray tan done. the application is much more even and you can avoid the awful streaking.

My favorite of all time is St. Tropez.  It gives you a beautiful golden brown tan, not the slightest bit of orange.  You won't be able to find it at drug stores, try beauty supplies or online.  And the lotion goes on smoother that the mouse.

Thanks for the rec, I'll look to see if I can find it online. Though I had to surrender my man card, I'm not sure I'm going into a beauty supply store.

Jergens natural glow is good but takes a while.

Since you are a dude, I would recommend the spray tan. I imagine guys are not as good at getting an even application, and if you have body hair that could be a factor too.

The Neutrogena spray stuff (aerosol) is great. It doesn't look orange, and if you miss a spot, you can just spray it later and it won't look patchy. Just don't get dressed right away, or it will rub off on your clothes. The good part is that since it's an aerosol, it's easier to do your back yourself.

A couple of people recommended this one to me. I don't mind the time or the possible messing it up as I have until August to get it right. Actually, the biggest thing is even if I mess it up, I just don't want to look orange as I heard they used to do this. I'll definitely go check this one out.

Not really but...Here's the reason. I'm going to Florida in August for 2 weeks. Being a beach hot spot and that I have a terrible farmer's tan, I'd like to minimize any possible snickering or laughs. It's not only the farmer's tan, it's the biker shorts tan.

I usually don't care if I were alone as for example in triathlons, I really don't give a crap. But I'm going with my wife to be, and I'm trying to save her some embarrassment.
