Hello to some familiar challenge teammates. I just had to join the Guinness Team. I think we ought to have a separate category for number of Guinesses we imbibe during the month.

Off to a tough start...My planned run yesterday was a horrible one. I followed my plan - cut it short a bit and walked alot during the "run", but was out there. Today is quite the snowy day - was supposed to be a rest day but I'll probalby move up one of my cycling days and ride the trainer.

I was hit with the same storm as you. I was supposed to run today, but got it done yesterday instead. Today I stayed inside on the bike trainer. Working from home.

Hey Walt!  I like the new avatar!

Today is a swim/bike day for me.  The Y is closed for the snow this morning, so I got my trainer ride in.  Hopefully the Y will be open so I can go later.

My BikeGirl avatar is on temporary vacation. She'll be back later this month.

Great start x2

in other news....I'm sure some of you can sympathize with me....I got so frustrated with my hair after my swim this evening...i just took the clippers and cut all my hair off...well not all of it from mid-back to my chin. I'm going to have to go by the salon tomorrow and have them fix it up.

Oh, and my hair is such a mess after the pool. I can't do a think with it. I swim with curlers in and one of those bathing caps with all the little doodads hanging off - like an old Esther Williams movie.

Out of curiosity, is this a female dominated team that I joined on to? Any other males?

I think it's you and four women; we'll try to keep our hands off of you ;)

Yup, all girls.

Is your bathing cap as good as this?

hahaha thats a great swim cap!!! It doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would...I needed to get it cut, well someone to even it all out. I will take pictures when I get home later. Still cold here high is only 60. Rest of the week high 70's though so I just have to make it through today.

it could be worse though, we could have been named team estrogen or something

There is a Team Estrogen website; they specialize in s/b/r clothes for women and they have a very active bicycle-dominated forum area. I've been on there longer than I've been on TE.
