After the long wait for insurance to settle the crashed bike and the long wait for Serotta to build the custom frame, here's my new road ride. 17lbs in size 59cm. I decided against the paint as they wany ~$900 for a custom paint job.

The Wheels are Topolino; a small manufacturer here in CT (buy local!). The spokes are actually a continuous run from rim through the hub to the other side of the rim making dampening extremly efficient.

The build is:
Handlebar Easton EC70
Stem Ritchey WCS
Shift/brake SRAM Red
Spacers Winwood
Headset Cane Creek S3
Brakes SRAM Force
Wheels Topolino Revelation AC29
Bottle Cages Winwood
Crank SRAM Red
Bottom Bracket SRAM Force
Front Derailleur SRAM Red
Seatpost Thompson Elite
Saddle Sella Italia Flite
Chain SRAM 1080
Cassette SRAM 1080
Rear Derailleur SRAM Force
Pedals KEO CrMo Carbon
Tires Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp

I took it for a 30miler yesterday and it's really responsive. Handles very well, accelerates nicely while still muting out road buzz. A bit shorter up top than what I was riding before, but I'll drink the Serotta fit Kool-Aid and call this geometry correct for me.

Enjoy the photos whil I enjoy the ride.

Great looking bike!  I really like the wheels.  What are the little black things at the end of every spoke?

The black ferrules are actually spoke nipples. These are CF/Kevlar spokes and the black ferrule is a nut at the end of each run. Small bolts go through the rim hole to attach them

The red CF bits are from Winwood. They're a subsidiary of Quality Bicycle Components and any LBS should be able to order them. Not terribly expensive and I thought they bling it out rather nicely.

Holy stack of spacers Batman!

Glad you found the right one.  You can't go wrong with a custom fit (usually).  Nice and clean looking and sweet ride to boot!

Congrats!

Do you ride that in triathlon?......clip on aerobars? Or just roadie it out?

Very nice bike, white and red would be preffered by me, but the silver looks great.

Rick: You're right about the spacers. I dunno... It's 1 1/8" of stack. It does seem like alot, yet the bike fits well. Maybe it screws up the HTA it put a longer tube on there? The fit feels good though.

Kathy: I went SRAM for a change. Shimano is nice and all, but I like the change and the single lever of the SRAM is nice. One tap for up 1 cog, sweep in a bit more for down 1 and sweep full to drop 3 cogs. Very crisp, very intuitive. The brake lever stays put. The front shifting is extremely nice! Very quick and reliable by comparison.

It took 5 weeks for delivery. Frame was shipped in 4 and a week for the shop to build it (I begged off the build for this bike: Too busy).

Jyles: This is pure roadie: I have the TT/Tri bike for race day. No aerobars.

Kim: Your avitar is almost as scary as mine :)

No more compact for me. Straight 53x39 regular crankset and a 12-26 cassette. I didn't like the compact as much as my old triple where I never really used the granny. Hence, I decided to go back to conventional chainrings since I wasn't really relying on the crutch of the compact anyway.
