I think you pay if you want to see the swim and most of the run including the finish. Bike course is free to watch.

From what I've heard a large chunk of Hyde Park is going to be fenced off including the Serpentine and transition area. The bike leg will be going past Buckingham Palace though and there's no way they'll be fencing all that off. Seems like a pretty good place to watch.

Nope, I didn't get any either.  Though I found out after (of course) that I could have used my Canadian credit card to buy some and wouldn't have had a problem getting them.  Sigh.

Does this mean that we get first crack at the tickets for the next offering?  I heard a rumour to that effect, but not sure if I should believe it or not...

You are right. We should hear before the end of June what is now available and have first chance to apply for those. prob be football as they are unlikely to sell out all the games. At least we can go and watch the cycle leg of the triathlon. I wanted track cycling though.

Smile That's the danger with the second round....

Having said that, a friend of mine who applied for tickets has just found out that he got...... Dressage.

I'm left wondering why he even applied for dressage in the first place Surprised

Cool ... sad you didn't get in on the tri, though.
