Subject: I'm such a proud husband

So not only is my wife, Amy an awesome wife, the best mom Nola could ever wish for and the hottest almost-40-year-old I know, she's also a pretty damn good editor. She's the Editor of The Metro Augusta Parent, a local parenting publication here in Augusta (and also the Special Sections Editor of The Metro Spirit, an independent newsweekly, in her spare time).

She just got home from Philadelphia where she was attending the Parenting Publications of America's national conference. At the awards ceremony, her publication won three awards, first place in two categories and third in another. She took over this publicaiton about a year ago and has changed it from a monthly ad rag that recycled the same old stories into a publications that matters. I'm so, so proud of her.

Oh...and btw. One of the first place awards was for a story written by BT's own (and one of my TNT triathletes), smarti! How cool is that?

Way to go, Mrs Jim (Amy)!!!  Give her a high-5 from us all here and an extra "atta girl" too!  Nice to hear success stories, really makes you realize you married the right woman!

Outstanding. There are those who can write, and then, there are those who can write right. Think she could tutor me and tyrant in her spare time.

Congrats.

That's awesome Jim!  I have always thought that Amy was very talented with her writing and editing since I read that one article she wrote awhile back about running her first 1/2 marathon.  Not everyone can write- she definitely has a gift for it!

Way to go smarti!  I had no idea you were THAT GOOD!
