Garmin 910 Upload issues to BT

No, it's Iowa. |  Subject: Garmin 910 Upload issues to BTHey Garmin 910 users, I updated to the new firmware on Monday and now I can't upload my workouts through the Training Log "Upload" link. I need to manually enter the information, which is not a huge deal, but kind of irritating. Anyone having this problem too?

There have been a couple of instances where it took awhile for the BT widget to find the device or get data, but I believe that is much more a function of bandwidth than the code or devices. |

Are you using Mac or PC? I have a Mac and I started having problems uploading to BT earlier this week. A few weeks ago, Chrome started to have problems. Garmin has acknowledged a Communicator problem for that. This week Firefox and Safari started to act up for me. To be clear, Garmin Connect uploads are still working without an issue. The workout files are downloaded from the 310XT to my machine. The Garmin Communicator plugin will not work with BT (or with Dailymile). I get device not found type of message from BT. |

My ANT agent is pulling the workouts from my watch and uploading to Garmin Connect perfectly. It's the step from taking from my Garmin watch to BT that I'm having a problem. I will monkey around with it, but I was not sure if it was a BT issue or an issue with my stuff. Thansk

This sounds very much like what I am seeing. It's also not holding it's watch-to-Ant+Stick pairing very well either. |

FWIW, Chrome is a known issue. Supposedly Garmin is working on that. |

It's been a while since I've tried, but I don't think any of them upload lap swimming data. |

I've found that by going to the specific day / sport, I don't have issues uploading. It's more manual, but it's less frustrating than getting 'error' everytime. Have you tried that? |
