Any one been around the area? I was up north of Milwaukee this past weekend and the lake was COLD!!!! I saw the swim course was changed to a loop instead of point-to-point...

I haven't starting watching the lake temps or the weather predictions yet, but I will take cold over some of the waves/chops that I saw described in previous years. C'mon, calm weather!!!
p.s. Still excited no matter what.

Planning on riding the course tomorrow, don't know water temps but lots of people at the beach and swimming yesterday, couldn't have been that cold

I know it's early but initial weather is predicted to be sunny, high of 80, winds out of NE 5-10mph. We could only hope that holds!

Bike course looks good, a couple rough stretches around 20-25 miles and again at 35-40ish but overall in good shape. Hope everyone's training is going well

Looked like water temp is hanging around 72-74 right now...should be a cool week, so I don't see them going up too much. Keeping an eye on that wind...otherwise, race day looks great!

I was a back-o-the-packer at 7:08:25 but I couldn't have enjoyed myself more. It was so good to finish after having been swept off the course due to lightning in 70.3 Syracuse in June. I hope everyone had as good a time as I did, and wish everyone the best in your next event!
