No one can truly offend you, it is up to you. Well said, Brad. I don't get the holiday greeting controversy. If someone wishes me a Merry Christmas, I do not get offended. If they wish me Happy Holidays, I do not get offended. If they wish me a Cool Yule, Pleasant Solstice, Happy Hannukah, or Awesome Festivus, I do not get offended, instead, I wish them the same. Taking umbrage at someone's 2-second effort to be civil - whatever form it takes - seems to be against the spirit of the season. |
