Rest day before the race. Don't know how much rest I'll get. Got one son who's backed up a mile on his homework. (Fortunately, the other son is caught up finally!) Can I put that in the training log as a workout?

We're moving a bunch of new furniture into the house today, then setting the old stuff on fire or something.  I think that counts as lifting.  I'd like to do a swim but won't have time.  Probably run tonight .

Just got home after some time at the Y. I swam 45 minutes working on drills, so I don't count the yards for time.

Then I did a circuit (2 times through) of the "Fitlinxx" machines they have there. I don't really feel like I get much of a workout when I use those types of machines, but felt it couldn't hurt to do a full body circuit once in a while. My main weight training is on T, W, and Th.

I don't know if it's the New Year resolutionists or if others are starting to think of training for their triathlon season, but the place (including pool) was PACKED.

36min 30sec run at 8min pace in good ol' 15f with head wind weather. Three layers of gear and still had shrinkage factor. I cant win! Hamstrings feel pretty tight afterwards.
