Subject: Lake Geneva run 29th or 30th?
Since Im contemplating the LG HIM, wondering if anyone would like to head to Lake Geneva, do the 2 hilly loops with me? Maybe the significant others would like to come along, and maybe hit the beach after? (then we could have some sag support...for extra fluids etc!!) Not at 5am though...please something reasonable! I can carry 3 others with me, or 2 if Steve comes too.

29th is out for me - i'm volunteering at the Hooked on Adrenaline tri in West Bend.  30th could work, though, and i happen to have a swim and a run on the schedule that day.

what kind of pace are we talking?

I'm doing the mini marathon 5k on the 29th. But I still might join for this, depending on the time...

Isn't that going to slow you down? I knew you were tough Pam, but that is impressive!

Im not too fast, but the loops are 6.55 ish miles, so varied paces won't be far from anyone. Im looking at probably 8:15-8:30s for that day? And looks like 30th is better for a couple...we can do whatever works for the most.

well, the LG 1/2 is out for me. The Chiari that I have is really messing with long distance training (esp the bike). Im going to take it slow, and hope to do the Toyota Challenge Half in Ohio 9/27. So sorry all...can't push it right now.

Sorry to hear that. Have you considered trying to get bumped down to the Olympic distance in Geneva? Might be a way to cut your losses.

I work Sunday night at 430 therefore am free all day Sunday morning and most of the afternoon. I do work all day Saturday so Sunday is the better bet for me. Are we still planinng on doing this?

I don't know. I'm now thinking about doing the bike course instead, because I'm more concerned about finding my way on the bike course than the run course. Hmm...

if we do a group run, i was going to run then just drive the bike course and make notes for my personal cue sheet.
