HED H3 versus Hed 3D clincher

Member  308 |  Subject: HED H3 versus Hed 3D clincherI have the first one, I noticed there is also HED 3D as well. I was curious to know the real difference aside from being more expensive. I assume both are carbon wheels and I know their description talks about the second being alittle faster in certain wind yaw angles. Is that the only real difference? I was alittle nervous since I just got the HED H3 and thought that it was not all carbon and that the 3D was the carbon one. (excluding the rim which I know is Al for mine). They are both carbon correct? Thanks |

I would actually love to test ride this combo vs a disc rear and vs. a disc and maybe a Jet6 or Jet9 front. I'd be curious how much, if any, difference there is. Not to mention, I'd love to see if I could handle the H3d rear and H3 front. I'm pretty confident in my handling skills, being an MTB'er, so I'd like to think a little wind blowing me around would be easy! |
