REMINDER - IMAZ Registration info tomorrow!

I'm guessing that it's just an announcment about when registration will begin. There's been speculation of a date change. I doubt they would open up registration without giving a time first, especially since many IMNA races fill up the first day (although not IMAZ in the past).

A guy in  my local tri club emailed them this morning and was told that info would be going up today but that registration would NOT be opening.

Meh.

I'm not sure but I heard that they are going to push back the California 70.3 race a little later in the year, possibly back to April, so maybe IMAZ will be bumped up to March.

Just guessing.

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!  This is what I've been waiting all day for?!?  No race date...nothin.

From the IMAZ site:

Registration for the 2007 edition of the Ford Ironman Arizona is expected to be available at the end of April. This will be the third
year for this event, which has received great support from Tempe, the Salt River Pima - Maricopa Indian community and the surrounding municipalities.

During the next few weeks Ironman North America will conduct a number of meetings between the various partners in the event to confirm details for 2007. As in previous years, athletes will be competing for 80 qualifying spots to the 2007 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii as well as a $75,000 pro prize purse.
