Subject: Where is everybody?
Busy training I hope??? How is everyone doing with their training, and what races do you all have left this summer? As for myself, training is slowly kicking back into gear just in time for my Ironman distance race?!? I might have left it a bit late though, we will see. I am doing the Vineman(Ironman distance) Aug.12th, and then I will probably do a sprint tri in Vancouver in September as well as a local duathlon and the Victoria Marathon in October. What are you guys and gals up to?

We're here. Leah, you should definitely try the race at Buntzen. You've wanted to do it for awhile now.

This summer will soon be over and I will have accomplished my goal of not doing a single tri! Just kidding... kind of. I have a few races left this summer.

This weekend:
Tour De Delta Hill Climb
Tour De Delta Criterium

August long weekend:
Kelowna Fresh Air Experience Hill Climb
Kelowna Fresh Air Experience Road Race
Kelowna Fresh Air Experience Criterium
Kelowna Fresh Air Experience Time Trail

I'm looking ahead to the following races:

Self-Transcendence Oly on August 6..
Juan De Fuca duathlon on Sept 24 (maybe.. haven't decided yet)
Royal Victoria 8k on Oct 7 (downgraded from the half mary cuz I'm just not ready!)

Well, I kind of just wanted to make this year easily surpassable!

If I kept going you know I would be doing an I/M this year.

Now next year, I can get away with just doing and I/M and not trying to beat a pb!

Not, saying I am going to be doing an I/M yet though

I'm around, just training as I have time and working towards my little mini-sprint.

Eventually I'll be able to work with a specific plan in mind, once I have time to focus on various things...so sometime AFTER this summer.

Well all, I am off heading down to Santa Rosa on Friday, going to take part in the full Iron distance Vineman race on August 12th(what was I thinking?) wish me luck, it should get interesting about 1/3 of the way into the run. Hope to come back to reality in a couple of weeks, and maybe I will talk to you all then. I will try to let you know how I did as soon as I can find access to a computer. Have a good couple of weeks,

Hey all, just got back, I have posted a race report for the ironman that I did, it was tough, but I did alright. Hope all is well, it's good to be back in beautiful BC.
