Subject: RE: Michigan IRONMAN checking inAs for the heat ~95 degrees, the tunnel vision was nice because it kept me going forward . The dizzy spells and migrane just made the experienec that much more memorable. All the leg and foot swelling was nice because it kept my shoe laces nice and tight and helped me store water for future hydration needs. In all honesty I wouldn't change a thing about the temp, course and race day in general.
Mattliv,
Recovery is a nice break but I am more than ready to start the 20 wk BT marathon program as a Fall/early winter program. My mind says get to the gym and on the road but my legs only "think" they're ready.
Shortyy,
IMlou is a great race for your first as it was mine as well. The swim is nice (not dirty like some say ), the bike is rolling hill after rolling hill for 112miles ( I hit 52mph on one downhill ), the run shaded for the most part an a blast (lots of spectators ).
Rgr375,
send me a PM with any and all questions, I'll do my best to accomodate.
